JAKARTA - The Police Headquarters Ethics Council through the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) rejected the appeal of Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama for membership violations related to the death of Brigadier General Muhammad Nurhadi.
"For Yogi, the appeal was rejected by the National Police Headquarters," said Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Pol. Mohammad Kholid in Mataram, Tuesday, January 27, reported by ANTARA.
With the appeal ruling, the sanctions for the violation of ethics and discipline of the National Police for Kompol Yogi refer to the decision of the NTB Police Ethics Council which imposed a Dismissal Without Honor (PTDH).
Although there has been a decision from the KKEP trial, Kholid admitted that his party had not officially imposed heavy sanctions in the scope of the National Police.
"We are still waiting for the SK (decision letter) from the National Police Headquarters, we can only do PTDH," he said.
Kompol Yogi in the case of the death of Brigadier General Nurhadi is a suspect along with I Gde Aris Chandra Widianto who has previously received a sanction of dismissal for the follow-up of the NTB Police Ethics Council's decision.
Apart from the two, there is a female suspect named Misri Puspita Sari who is a colleague who accompanied Kompol Yogi to stay at the closed villa on Gili Trawangan, where Brigadier Nurhadi was killed because he was allegedly tortured.
In the development of the case, Kompol Yogi and Aris Chandra are currently undergoing trial at the Mataram District Court with the last agenda at the expert examination.
