Saturday Morning, There Are Still 90 RTs and 9 Streets in Jakarta

JAKARTA - The floods that occurred in some parts of DKI Jakarta are still flooding as many as 90 Neighborhood Units (RT) and 9 roads on Saturday morning.

"Saturday morning there are still 90 RT that are still flooded," said the Head of the Data and Information Center for Disaster Management of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) DKI Jakarta, Mohamad Yohan, quoted by Antara.

Yohan said that the height of the flood in Cawang Village, South Jakarta, currently reaches 2.5 meters. This is due to the overflowing Ciliwung River.

According to him, the spread of flooding has indeed shown a decrease and flooding in a number of locations has receded on Friday evening.

Flooding in Jakarta flooded 143 RT on Friday (23/1) and that was the most data during the flood since Thursday (22/1).

BPBD DKI Jakarta deployed personnel to monitor the condition of the puddles in each area and coordinate the elements of the Water Resources Department, the Road Construction Department, and the Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat) to carry out the draining of puddles and ensure that the water ropes function properly.

The following is the distribution of areas still submerged in the flood according to the latest data;

West Jakarta has 51 RT, consisting of:

Duri Kosambi Village: 6 RT Height: 20-120 cm

Kapuk Village: 3 RT Height: 50-70 cm

Kedaung Kali Angke Village: 8 RT Height: 40-50 cm

Rawa Buaya Village: 9 RT Height: 50-120 cm

Jelambar Village: 4 RT Height: 20 cm

South Kedoya Village: 4 RT Height: 60 cm

Kedoya Utara Village: 7 RT Height: 15-80 cm

Joglo Village: 1 RT Height: 40 cm

South Kembangan Village: 5 RTKetinggian: 25-60 cm

North Kembangan Village: 3 RT Height: 25-70 cm

Meruya Selatan Village: 1 RT Height: 50 cm

South Jakarta has 7 RT, consisting of:

Rawajati Village: 3 RT Height: 25-130 cm

Pejaten Timur Village: 3 RT Height: 210 cm

Kebon Baru Village: 1 RT Height: 50 cm

East Jakarta has 25 RT, consisting of:

Rawa Terate Village: 1 RT Height: 80 cm

Cawang Village: 9 RT Height: 80-250 cm
