JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators raided the official residence of Pati Regent Sudewo, which is in the same complex as the Pati Regency Pendopo, Central Java, Thursday, January 22.

The search was a follow-up to a previous hand-in-hand operation.

One of the staff of the Pati Regent's office who did not want to be named, confirmed the search activities by the KPK investigation team at the regent's official residence and office.

Information obtained said that the search began Thursday morning at around 07.00 WIB.

In front of the Pati Regency Palace, a number of black cars were also parked, three of which had H number plates and one AB.

In addition, a number of police personnel with long-barreled weapons were on guard in front of the Pati Regency Palace.

A number of KPK investigators also appeared to enter the regent's official residence, then moved to the work room and moved again to the official residence.

Previously, the KPK carried out a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) against Pati Regent Sudewo on Monday, January 19 in the early hours.

KPK investigators then examined Sudewo at the Kudus Police with borrowing one of his rooms.

After conducting the examination, the KPK investigation team shifted to Semarang, escorted by personnel from the Satlantas Unit of the Kudus Police.
