"The information is that there is one victim in the name of Ohid Nugraha, aged 50 years. His condition was injured by the impact of the material, but he was conscious and okay," he said.
Bambang explained that the landslide occurred on Sunday at around 23.00 WIB and lasted three times. Two small-scale landslides occurred first, then followed by one large landslide on Monday at around 01.00 WIB.
The landslide material in the form of soil, water, and fallen trees buried part of the packaging water plant building and caused damage to a number of company facilities.
The affected building areas include storage warehouses, production rooms, to administrative office rooms. Until now, the joint team is still conducting assessments to ensure the level of damage and potential for further risks.
For the time being, factory activities have been stopped to support the process of handling the landslide material and mitigating the risk of follow-up, including installing tarpaulins and securing the location.
