Regarding the Hajj Procurement Intervention, Menhaj: Officials Cannot Be Left-handed

JAKARTA - The Minister of Hajj and Umrah (Menhaj) Mochammad Irfan Yusuf emphasized that he would not tolerate any form of intervention, entrustment, or misuse of the name of officials in the process of providing goods and services for the implementation of the hajj.

Menhaj said there were parties who claimed to be part of the team of ministers, deputy ministers, and certain officials, to influence the decision-making process.

"Many people claim to be, some say from the ministerial team, from deputy ministers, from officials. This will definitely be asked. All brush, no one we protect. Officials can't do tips," said Menhaj Irfan Yusuf in Jakarta, Wednesday, quoted by Antara.

Menhaj revealed that there had been an attempt to intervene with his team in the field work process. However, he immediately ordered that the investigation be continued without discrimination.

"Yesterday there was an intervention to my team, I asked them to continue the investigation. If there are people in the Ministry of Religion who are involved, we will brush them," said Menhaj.

According to him, it is not impossible that there are parties who use his name or that of the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah (Wamenhaj) for personal interests. He emphasized that this would never be tolerated.

"I believe that someone is using my name and the deputy minister. I and the deputy minister will never tolerate such things," said Menhaj Irfan Yusuf.

Currently, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) is still waiting for reports from the team regarding the achievement of the process of providing goods and services in Saudi Arabia as part of supervision and preparation for the implementation of the hajj.

He ensured that strict supervision would continue to be carried out to ensure that all processes run according to rules and are oriented towards the interests of pilgrims.

"We are just waiting from the team to what extent the achievements of the provision of goods and services in Saudi Arabia," said Menhaj.
