He said that he initially arrested TH at around 22.00 WIB on Jalan Masjid, Lingkungan II Kelurahan Pulau Simardan, Kecamatan Datuk Bandar Timur, Kota Tanjungbalai.

"From the suspect TH, evidence of suspected cocaine was found in three transparent plastic packages. Each package contains white powder suspected of cocaine weighing 970.1 grams, 1,012.3 grams, and 1,003.7 grams," he said.

Bringin said that when the suspect was interrogated, the cocaine was supplied by his colleague with the initials I Alias IL, after which the personnel carried out the development.

"Personnel arrested IL who was on Jalan Selat Tanjung Medan, Lingkungan V Kelurahan Selat Tanjung Medan, Kecamatan Datuk Bandar Timur," he said.

The two suspects were charged with violating Article 114 paragraph (2) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics in conjunction with Article 20 letter c Subsider Article 609 Paragraph 1 letter a of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.
