MEDAN - Video of the commotion at Pirngadi Hospital in Medan went viral on social media. In the video, a man scolds a medic who is said to have neglected to deal with his critical mother.

In the 56th second, a woman is lying with an oxygen tube on her face. He is lying on the bed.

There is a man can be heard crying while patting the woman's body.

"Madame," said the man, crying.

Then, it was also seen that the nurses and other medical personnel were busy handling patients. There was also a medical officer carrying an oxygen cylinder.

But the man in the video looks angry. "This empty tube, the empty tube, there is no pressure," he said.

The man who allegedly recorded the incident was disappointed with the medical treatment at the Pirngadi Hospital in Medan. He said the nurses who worked there were not professional in handling patients.

"This is what he did, he didn't check it, take off your mask, don't be ashamed of you, this is my mother's life, you can replace it like that," he explained.

Not long after that the nurse passed out. The sister was then carried to another room.

Pirngadi Hospital Public Relations Officer, Edison Perangin-angin confirmed the viral video. The incident occurred Wednesday, May 26 evening.

The patient was declared dead. However, he denied the oxygen cylinder when handling empty patients.

"The gas cylinder is still filled," said Edison, Friday, May 28.

Due to objections to the content, Edison admitted that his party had reported the video uploader to the police.

"We have denied (the viral video) by making a report to the Medan Police," he said.

Regarding the chronology of events, Edison did not know the details. But a nurse is suspected of experiencing violence from the patient's family.

"What I heard was that there was an attack on officers, medical ASN. For the information, try to confirm it to the nun's husband, because her husband has also made an LP (police report)," said Edison.
