JAKARTA - ASTRA Infra projects the peak of the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holiday traffic on the Tangerang-Merak and Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) Toll Roads to occur on January 3 to 5, 2026.

ASTRA Infra Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), Rinaldi, through his statement quoted by Antara, Saturday, January 3, said that his party had prepared various operational steps to ensure that services remained optimal during that period.

"We appeal to all road users to be disciplined in traffic and follow safety appeals for smooth sailing together," said Rinaldi.

Meanwhile, for the Jombang-Mojokerto toll road section, the peak of the return flow is predicted to occur earlier, namely on 2 to 4 January 2026. Based on data on H+7 Christmas Day or 1 January 2026, a total of 241,666 vehicles crossed the three toll roads managed by ASTRA Infra.

The details, the Tangerang-Merak toll road was crossed by 123 thousand vehicles, the Cipali toll road by 78 thousand vehicles, up 39.59 percent from normal, and the Jombang-Mojokerto toll road by 39 thousand vehicles, up 46.85 percent from normal.

Facing the reverse flow, ASTRA Infra appealed to road users to ensure that the condition of the vehicle and the physical condition of the driver are in good condition. Drivers are asked to rest at the rest area or exit the nearest toll gate if they are tired after driving for 4 hours.

"If the rest area is full, road users can find a place to rest near the toll gate exit, so that they can later enter again without being charged additional toll rates because the payment system is closed," he explained.

In addition, road users are asked to ensure that the balance of electronic money is sufficient and adjust the maximum speed to 70 km/hour during rainy conditions for safety.
