JAKARTA - The Indonesian Farmers Harmony Association (HKTI) has again distributed humanitarian aid for victims of natural disasters in the Sumatra region. The aid worth Rp2.4 billion was symbolically released this morning by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture (Wamentan) and also the General Chairman of the HKTI DPN Sudaryono.

Sudaryono said the assistance was intended for disaster victims in three provinces, namely Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, involving 30 logistics vehicles that were dispatched to the affected locations.

"Today we are releasing. The total we released is around 2.4 billion with 30 vehicles," he said, in front of the Agriculture Ministry (Kementan) Archives building, South Jakarta, Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

This distribution, said Sudaryono, is the second phase, after HKTI previously distributed the first phase of assistance worth Rp1.2 billion. This time the assistance is focused on emergency needs, such as food, blankets, baby supplies, to the needs of women who are difficult to obtain in disaster locations.

"HKTI does not work alone. All this assistance is coordinated with BNPB so that the distribution is targeted. At the location there are also HKTI teams and task forces that accompany," he said.

He emphasized that the collection of assistance would not stop at the emergency response phase, but would continue until the post-disaster rehabilitation process.

"This collection of funds, God willing, will not stop here," he concluded.
