He explained that the Bandung Religious Court and both parties agreed to expedite the trial process after the results of the mediation between Atalia Praratya and Ridwan Kamil were declared complete.
"Usually, it takes one month if the mediation drags on. However, the results of the mediation came out on Friday, December 17, and both parties agreed. Therefore, today was immediately scheduled," he said.
Debi also emphasized that the divorce lawsuit filed by his client was not related to other parties whose names were circulating in the public sphere.
"Names that are circulating such as AK, LM, or SM have never been in the contents of the lawsuit. We are surprised by the various speculations that have emerged. In fact, our client and the defendant have been separated for six months," said Debi.
