Isolated Gayo Lues Residents Give 'Oleh-Oleh' Sepikul Durian to TNI Awak Heli Logistik

ACEH - A moment of sadness occurred when the crew of a logistics delivery helicopter in an isolated area was given a durian fruit as a sign of gratitude by residents of Ekan Village, Pining District, Gayo Lues Regency, Aceh, Tuesday, December 23.

The area is an area that is still isolated after the flood and landslide disaster in Aceh some time ago.

The Head of the Air Force Information Service, First Marshal I Nyoman Suadnyana, in his official statement, Thursday, December 25, expressed his happiness at the moment of meeting TNI soldiers and the community in the spirit of mutual encouragement.

Nyoman explained that land access to the affected area in Pining District has not been fully accessible until now. Because the land route is cut off, the air route is the only option for distributing logistical assistance.

The Indonesian Air Force's Caracal helicopter was deployed to transport about 1,000 kilograms of logistics to Ekan Village. The heavy terrain and weather that is not always friendly do not discourage the effort to deliver aid.
