Rumaj raided in Bima NTB, Police Secured 31 Packages of Methamphetamine from 2 Men

Bima - The Bima City Police (Polres) seized around 31 drug bags suspected of being methamphetamine from the results of a raid on two men in the Pali Neighborhood, Asakota District, Bima, West Nusa Tenggara.

Head of the Bima City Police AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro explained that the arrest took place early Wednesday morning at the house of one of the perpetrators.

"So, at around 01.35 WITA, our operational members went to the house of MU's brother. Inside the house, officers found MU and IK using methamphetamine," he said in Mataram, Wednesday, quoted by Antara.

From the results of the search at the location, the police found 11 drug pockets suspected of being ready-to-use clear plastic clips. Several dozen pockets were found from a search of MU's house.

"From the search of the two perpetrators who were witnessed by the local RT, 20 pockets ready to be distributed were found which were stored in cigarette packages," he said.

In addition to evidence of suspected crystal methamphetamine in the form of white powder, officers also secured methamphetamine smoking devices, mobile phones, and cash suspected of being the proceeds of drug sales worth Rp300 thousand.

From the results of the intensive work carried out by the Asakota Police Opsnal Team, the case of the second perpetrator and the evidence has now been followed up by the Bima City Police Narcotics Team.

"For further investigation and legal proceedings, the case is handled by the resnarkoba team," he said.

Furthermore, the Police Chief said that the disclosure of this case was inseparable from the follow-up of public information.

Therefore, he appealed to the public to continue to play an active role in providing information related to the circulation and abuse of narcotics in order to protect the younger generation and create a clean environment from drugs.
