Instead Of Eating, 4 Youths In Lombok NTB Even Drug Transactions At Restaurants, Ending Up In Prison

JAKARTA - The Special Team for Resmob Polda NTB thwarted the methamphetamine drug transaction mode at a restaurant in the Paok Motong area, East Lombok Regency.

"Thanks to public information, Timsus has succeeded in uncovering a new mode of drug trafficking in NTB. The transaction was carried out at a restaurant in the East Lombok region," said Director of the NTB Regional Police, Kombes Helmi Kwarta Kusuma Putra Rauf in Mataram as reported by Antara, Thursday, May 27. .

Four people involved in the transaction were also arrested. Two people with the status of givers and two others as orderers.

Those arrested with the initials WH (29) and IS (45), SU (30), and IG (24). Helmi said WH and IS had a role as carriers and as parties handing over goods to IS and IG. They came from Masbagik, East Lombok Regency.

"After the transaction at the dinner table, they were immediately arrested by the Timsus," he said.

From the arrest on Wednesday, May 26 yesterday, evidence of shabu-shabu was found with a gross weight of 10 grams. Likewise with the payment money from IS and IG amounting to Rp320 thousand. "The money is only a sign of giving goods," he said.

From the results of the interim investigation, the four of them were suspected of being involved in drug trafficking networks in the East Lombok region. Helmi suspects that they have the brains of running this illicit business.

"We cannot say the name of the person. Because of the secret of the investigation. To be sure, he is from East Lombok," he said.

As a result of his actions, now the four perpetrators who have been detained at the NTB Regional Police Headquarters have been named as suspects who allegedly violated Article 112 Paragraph 2, Article 114 Paragraph 2 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35/2009 on Narcotics.

With regards to drug eradication in NTB, Helmi firmly stated that his party remains committed to "zero tolerance" for drug trafficking.

He invited all NTB people, especially those who live in the East Lombok region to support this commitment. If there is information related to circulation, Helmi asks to immediately report it to the police.
