JAKARTA - The chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetio Edi Marsudi, said that the members of the council will form a special committee (special committee) to investigate the problems of hundreds of ASN DKI who do not want to participate in the auction for echelon II positions.
"We will form a special committee to resolve the problem of ASNs who are reluctant to participate in the rejuvenation of their positions," Prasetio told reporters, Thursday, May 27.
Prasetio said that the DPRD special committee would later summon 239 ASNs who refused to register in the open selection for the senior leadership positions of the Pratama. They, said Prasetio, will be asked to explain the reasons why they do not want to participate in the selection.
The special committee will also summon experts and experts from related agencies such as from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), Kemenpan RB, KSAN, BKN, Korpri, including academics.
"We will ask their opinion on how the government bureaucratic management system and its human resources (HR) should be. So, we can get a complete picture, not half-heartedly," said Prasetio.
Prasetio views that this problem cannot be ignored because the lack of interest in ASNs to take up positions affects public services to the community and government performance.
Given that there are still many strategic positions that have not been filled by definitive officials because previously many heads of offices and heads of agencies resigned.
"ASNs are state servants, they are required to work professionally and have a rigid career in accordance with the law. Moreover, ASN salaries in Jakarta are the highest nationally. So, it is strange if they refuse to have a career," said Prasetio.
"This is a serious problem, there has been no case (ASN refuses to take part in rejuvenation) in Jakarta, even in Indonesia like this. ASN is obliged to carry out its duties when assigned anywhere. Our bureaucracy also applies a meritocracy system," he added.
