He explained that the absorption of the school revitalization budget from the PAUD level to the SMA was in the range of 98 to 99 percent. Especially for Special Schools (SLB), the absorption of the budget even reached 99.81 percent. Overall, the absorption of the revitalization budget was recorded at 99.34 percent.

On the same occasion, the Ministry of Education also reported the impact of the flood disaster on the education sector in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. A total of 3,274 school buildings and educational facilities were affected by the disaster.

"The steps we have taken include distributing assistance in the form of goods, such as 148 units of emergency classroom tents, 15,000 school kit packages, 7,500 children's parcels, 2,000 pairs of shoes, 700 * family kits *, as well as 65,000 textbooks and non-textbooks," said Abdul Mu'ti.

In addition to the goods assistance, the government also distributed cash assistance worth Rp39.6 billion.
