JAKARTA - Head of West Aceh District Health Office Syarifah Junaidah stated that the district now has three new clusters of COVID-19 spread.

The three clusters are enterprise clusters, college clusters (academics) and household clusters.

"The new cluster was discovered after officers from the West Aceh District Health Office conducted a tracking (search), against residents who have been declared positively infected with COVID-19," said Syarifah Junaidah in Meulaboh, reported by Antara, Wednesday, May 26.

According to him, until Wednesday, May 26, as many as 229 people in West Aceh District have been positive of COVID-19, with the number of people recovering reached 179 people.

While 12 of them patients were declared dead, said Syarifah Junaidah said.

In order for cases of COVID-19 transmission in West Aceh to be lowered, the local government through the Task Force on Handling COVID-, for people who are active outside the home.
