Bareskrim Search The Office Of The Regent Nganjuk Until Camat About The Case Of Buying And Selling Positions

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Criminal Corruption (Dittipidkor) Bareskrim searched several locations related to the case of alleged bribes filling positions in the Nganjuk Regency Government, East Java. One of the locations searched was the work space of the Regent of Nganjuk as well as the suspect, Novi Rahman Hidayat.

"Some places, such as the regent's office, the regent's office, some camat offices are involved," Director of Corruption Bareskrim Polri Irjen Djoko Purwanto told reporters, Wednesday, May 26.

However, Djoko did not elaborate on the results of the search. He said investigators were still investigating the seized evidence.

In addition, Djoko continued, the investigating team has also examined witnesses. However, again he refused to elaborate on the identities of the witnesses.

"From last Monday, the team worked in Nganjuk. It's like the examination of witnesses," he said.

Previously, the Directorate of Criminal Corruption Bareskrim Polri set seven suspects in the case of alleged bribes related to the filling of village and camat device positions in the Nganjuk Regency, East Java.

As recipients, namely Novi Rahman Hidayat (NRH) and M Izza Muhtadin (MIM) as aides of the Regent of Nganjuk. While the bribes, namely Dupriono (DR) as Pace Sub-District, Edie Srijato (ES) as Tanjunganom Sub-District and Sukomoro Sub-District Head, Haryanto (HR) as Berbek Subagio Subagio (BS) as Loceret Sub-District, and Tri Basuki Widodo (TBW) as former Sukomoro Sub-District.

Evidence that has been obtained related to the case, namely cash amounting to Rp647,900,000 from the personal safe of the Regent of Nganjuk, eight mobile phone units, and one bank's savings book in the name of Tri Basuki Widodo.

The modus operandi is that the camats give some money to the Regent of Nganjuk through the Regent's aides related to the mutation and promotion of their positions as well as the filling of sub-district positions in the ranks of Nganjuk Regency. Furthermore, the aide of the Regent of Nganjuk handed the money to the Regent of Nganjuk.
