Mendikdasmen Pastikan Incentif Guru Honorer 2026 Jadi Rp400 Ribu

JAKARTA - Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti ensured that incentives for honorary teachers increased to IDR 400 thousand every month starting in 2026 with a direct transfer mechanism to the teacher account listed in the Dapodik.

He said the increase in honorary teacher incentives next year is IDR 100,000 when compared to the incentives distributed for 2025, which is IDR 300 thousand.

"Well, next year we will increase it from IDR 300 thousand to IDR 400 thousand, and that is also the fulfillment of the President's promise which was conveyed on teacher's day," said Minister of Education and Culture Mu'ti in an exclusive interview with Antara in Jakarta, Friday, December 12.

He explained that the incentives for honorary teachers provided with a direct transfer scheme to the recipient's teacher account were new breakthroughs during the Prabowo Subianto administration era.

Specifically for this year, his party has distributed incentives to more than 300 thousand teachers, with each teacher receiving Rp300 thousand each month and given once for 7 months.

Previously, in his presentation at the launch of the National Teacher's Month (31/10), the Minister of Education and Culture stated that the incentive assistance that had been distributed was IDR 736.31 billion to 347,383 teachers this year or with an achievement rate of 95.5 percent.

"This year, for 7 months, it was given once last July, so that each honorary teacher received Rp2.1 million for 2025," he added.

With these additional incentives, his party hopes to spur the motivation of teachers to improve competence in teaching and learning activities and other aspects of self-development.

"Of course we encourage teachers to continue to improve competence, continue to improve the ability and spirit of dedication in providing educational services," said Mendikdasmen Mu'ti.
