Stafsus Vice President Believes Covid-19 Will End Soon Because The Sky Is Bright

JAKARTA - The Special Staff of the Vice President (Stafsus wapres) Ikhsan Abdullah believes that the corona virus pandemic or COVID-19 will end soon. This belief emerged after he saw that the current sky conditions in the DKI Jakarta area were very bright and this indicated that this virus had finished carrying out its duties.

"The period of COVID will end. COVID will finish its task soon by cleaning public facilities, houses of worship, including cleaning the Jakarta skies," Ikhsan said in a discussion broadcast on YouTube, Saturday, May 2.

"Now we see, Jakarta's sky is clear. This means that the corona will end soon," he added with a smile.

Ikhsan may have believed that this pandemic would end based on clear skies in Jakarta, but Bogor Regent Ade Yasin did not agree with that. According to him, it is not certain when this pandemic will end. Moreover, each expert has their own calculations according to the method they use.

"There is uncertainty in the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic has been from March to May and we don't know when it will end," said Ade in the same discussion.

He said, rather than continuing to dream, he asked for a sustainable strategy to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This is because people are getting bored with the advice to work, study and worship from home.

In addition, the government must also make a national strategy to reduce the spread of this virus by cooperating with regional heads. Because, Ade considered, so far the local government seemed to be running alone to fight the virus that originated in the city of Wuhan, China.

"Now this area is walking separately. So it is like we are walking in the dark," he said.

So, this national strategy is expected to become a reference for the central and regional governments so that all efforts to prevent the transmission of this virus can be carried out simultaneously and integratedly.

"I believe this will be over for several months (the spread of COVID-19), we only need a national strategy from the central government," said Ade.
