BUMI - Kotabumi Class IIA Prison officially launched the Santri Bina Program in collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa, as part of religious development to strengthen spirituality and improve the quality of life for Correctional Inmates (WBP). This program is a concrete step in encouraging WBP to start the hijrah process and prepare for a better future.

In launching the program, there were two main activities held. First, the handover of worship equipment from Dompet Dhuafa to the Class IIA Kotabumi Prison. The assistance provided includes 50 Muslim/gamis clothes, 10 mukena, and 100 copies of the Qur'an which will be used in WBP's spiritual development.

Second, the implementation of the Tattoo Remove Program which is attended by 58 WBP. This program aims to provide opportunities for them to make changes in themselves, improve appearances, and increase confidence as part of the hijrah process and prepare for reintegration to the community.

This activity was also attended by the Head of the Development Division of Dompet Dhuafa, TB. Iim Nurohim, who came to ensure that the program runs optimally and strengthens collaboration with the prison. This program also received support from the Kabar Hijrah Baik community.

The Head of Class IIA Kotabumi, Tomi Elyus, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation.
