Bogor Police are tracing the identity of the motorcyclist who escorted the Range Rover with license plate B 1 WON in a viral video on Jalan Raya Puncak, Bogor Regency.
The Head of Operations Development Affairs (KBO) of the Bogor Police Traffic Unit, Iptu Ardian Novianto, explained that the location of the incident recorded in the video was confirmed to be in front of the Cisarua District Office.
"After we saw it, it happened on Jalan Raya Puncak, to be precise in front of Cisarua District. But I make sure it's not a member of the Bogor Police Traffic Unit," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 10.
The police are still investigating the identity of the motorcyclist and the vehicle used to guard the luxury car.
"Until now, we are still looking for the identity of both the motorbike and the officers," he said.
The video circulating shows the gray Range Rover with the B 1 WON plate being escorted by a BMW police motorcyclist with the words Denwal when traffic conditions in the Puncak area were jammed.
In the footage, a escort vehicle can be seen taking the opposite lane and dealing with other cars that do not provide a way, thus sparking debate between the driver and the bodyguard.
