Deputy Regent of West Pasaman M. Ihpan added that he had seen firsthand the road clearing work buried by the landslide on Tuesday (9/12).

"The pile length is estimated to reach one kilometer and is currently open about 800 meters. We are targeting this two-day road to be covered by a minimum two-wheeled vehicle," he said.

He said the road access was very important for the people of Bateh Samuik Tombang because it was the only route to the area.

While paving the road, his party also continues to monitor the three victims buried by landslides that have not been found.

The landslide at that location occurred on Friday (28/11) at around 04.00 which piled up five residents.

Of the five residents, two people have been found dead, namely Yelma Yunita (41) and Raffael Gusti Pratama (7).

Meanwhile, three other victims, namely Dian Fernanda (24), Amrizal (38), and Nurhayati (35) have not been found.
