Already Given A Loan Of IDR 1 Million, Azis Herwanto Even Stabbed A Couple In Karawang And Then Hide In The Ceiling

KARAWANG Police have arrested a man who stabbed a married couple at Garden City Residence Housing, Cengkong Village, Purwasari District, Karawang Regency, West Java.

Head of Public Relations of the Karawang Police, Ipda Cep Wildan, said the perpetrators were Azis Herwanto (23), who knew the two victims well, namely Gom Gom Tambunan (38) and Elina Mahulae (39).

The stabbing incident occurred on Tuesday night at the victim's house. Azis initially came to borrow Rp1 million. After receiving the loan, he had left the victim's house.

But in the afternoon, the perpetrator returned on the grounds that he wanted to return the money. Arriving at the victim's house, he suddenly attacked and stabbed Elina Mahulae and her husband, Gom Gom Tambunan.

After carrying out the stabbing, the perpetrator tried to escape. Residents who knew about the incident had chased the perpetrator until he returned to the victim's house.

The perpetrator was finally arrested after residents found him hiding on the ceiling of the victim's house.

The police who arrived at the location immediately arrested the perpetrator and took him to the Karawang Police for further processing.

"Untuk motif pelaku melakukan penikaman terhadap pasangan suami istri masih dalam penyelidikan," ujar Ipda Cep Wildan, di Karawang, Antara, Rabu, 10 Desember.
