51 Employees Will Be Fired, WP KPK Singgung TWK Measuring Instruments Are Not Clear

JAKARTA - The Employee Forum (WP) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) questioned the reason Firli Bahuri who seemed to want to fire 51 of his employees simply because of the National Insight Test Assessment.

In fact, the test that became a condition of transfer of staffing status is considered unclear as a measuring instrument and loaded with harassment in its implementation. This is considered contrary to firli attitude that wants to make corrupt inmates as anticorruption agents.

"We question why the Chairman of kpk wants to dismiss us as kpk employees with unclear measuring instruments and a process that is full of abuse of dignity as women," kpk WP Chairman Yudi Purnomo said in a written statement to reporters, Tuesday, May 25.

He also mentioned that the head of the antirasuah commission and the State Personnel Agency (BKN) did not comply with President Joko Widodo's instructions. This was proven by the dismissal of 51 employees and the education of 24 employees without any guarantees.

With this action, Yudi said, KPK and BKN have taken action against the law by not implementing the rules in Article 28D paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution which is strengthened by Number 70/PUU-XVII/2019. Because, in the rule has been explained the process of transfer of staffing status does not harm the rights of employees.

According to him, the attitude taken by the KPK leadership and the Head of BKN is a concrete form of disloyalty to the legitimate government. "Therefore, there needs to be supervision from the president following up on the transfer of staffing status," he said.

Previously reported, KPK has held a coordination meeting to discuss the fate of 75 employees who failed the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) and were disabled.

In addition to the KPK and the State Personnel Agency (BKN), the meeting was also attended by Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly and MenPANRB Tjahjo Kumolo.

As a result, 51 KPK employees out of a total of 75 employees who did not qualify TWK were confirmed fired from their jobs. While 24 employees are still possible coaching. The National Insight Test (TWK) was attended by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 were declared eligible.

Meanwhile, 75 employees including Novel Baswedan, Chairman of kpk employee container who is also an investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign KPK Giri Suprapdiono, Kasatgas KPK Harun Al-Rasyid, and Director pjkaki Sujarnarko declared ineligible (TMS).
