51 KPK Employees Will Be Dismissed November 1

JAKARTA - A total of 51 out of 75 employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who were declared not to pass the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) will be dismissed. The termination of staffing status will only be held on November 1.

"KPK can still have non-state civil servants (ASN) until November 1, 2021," said Chairman of the State Staffing Agency (BKN) Bima Haria at bkn office, Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, East Jakarta, Tuesday, May 25.

As a result, dozens of people whose names were not detailed will remain in office until October 31. Furthermore, they are certain to be fired from their positions in the KPK.

"In accordance with the law, November 1, all KPK employees must become ASN," said Haria.

Adding Haria's statement, KPK Vice Chairman Alexander Marwata said it would still provide duties for its 51 employees. It's just that their work is tightened by their superiors.

"The surveillance aspect is tightened. Employees still enter the office but in the implementation of daily duties must report to the supervisor," said Alex.

Previously reported, KPK has held a coordination meeting to discuss the fate of 75 employees who failed the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) and were disabled.

As a result, 51 employees out of the total were confirmed to be fired from their jobs while 24 employees were still possible.

Against 24 employees who can still be appointed as employees will be conducted state defense education and national insight. However, if at the end of the education period these 24 employees are again declared unqualified then they will also be fired.

The coordination meeting was attended by a number of parties. In addition to the KPK and the State Personnel Agency (BKN), the meeting was also attended by Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly and MenPANRB Tjahjo Kumolo.

Previously reported, the National Insight Test (TWK) was followed by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 were declared eligible.

Meanwhile, 75 employees including Novel Baswedan, Chairman of kpk employee container who is also an investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign KPK Giri Suprapdiono, Kasatgas KPK Harun Al-Rasyid, and Director pjkaki Sujarnarko declared ineligible (TMS). The other two employees were not present in the interview.
