Deputy Secretary General of PBNU KH Imron Rosyadi Hamid (Gus Imron) emphasized that all the highest decisions in the organizational structure of PBNU are in the hands of Sharia led by Rais Aam.

Therefore, KH Yahya Cholil Staquf (Gus Yahya) is no longer entitled to be in the name of PBNU.

Syuriah's move to dismiss KH Yahya Cholil Staquf (Gus Yahya) from the position of General Chair of PBNU is a final and binding decision.

"The highest decision of the PBNU organization is in Syuriah led by Rais Aam. Currently, Syuriah has decided to dismiss Gus Yahya from the position of General Chair," said Gus Imron in a written statement reported by ANTARA on Thursday, December 4.

He explained that the decision emphasized that Gus Yahya was no longer entitled to be in the name of the General Chair, including wearing the attributes and facilities attached to the position.

"In the Sharia decision, it is stated that Gus Yahya is prohibited and has no right on behalf of the General Chair. Even using PBNU's attributes is no longer allowed. Therefore, whatever Gus Yahya does, including changing the position of Secretary General of PBNU, does not have legal force," he said.

Gus Imron said that Gus Yahya's dismissal was contained in the results of the decision of the PBNU Syuriyah Daily Meeting on November 20, 2025, which was then followed up through an official circular.

The letter, he continued, stated that starting November 26, 2025 at 00.45 WIB, Gus Yahya was no longer the General Chair of PBNU.

"Since then, the PBNU leadership has been entirely in the hands of Rais Aam," he said.

Therefore, every policy issued by Gus Yahya no longer has legitimacy.

"Including the rotation of the Secretary General. It has no legitimacy," said Gus Imron.

Gus Imron also mentioned that the PBNU Secretary General Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) did not carry out his duties.

He emphasized that the regional and branch management decrees that had not been signed were actually due to administrative defects in the upload process (upload) through the Digdaya application.

He emphasized that Gus Ipul's move to withhold signatures was a form of commitment to maintaining administrative order and organizational integrity.
