JAKARTA - A man wearing a banyak mask while brandishing a chainsaw on the northern street of New York in broad daylight was found guilty on Wednesday, December 3 local time.

Citing ABC News, Thursday, December 4, the Jury at the Albany Regional Court, New York, found the perpetrator guilty of the first-degree charges and possession of a third-degree gun for its actions in the Cohoes area on May 1, 2025.

Albany regional prosecutor Lee Kindlon said the evidence in this case in the form of CCTV footage showed the perpetrator wearing a joke mask, a soccer shirt carrying a red saw walking in the afternoon before the afternoon.

The perpetrator was caught on CCTV footage walking in the neighborhood wearing akargotong mask and soccer jersey and carrying a red saw in the afternoon.

Kindlon explained that a local resident had a face-to-face meeting with the perpetrator who suddenly pulled a plastic shell from a chainsaw. The perpetrator also lifted the chainsaw and threatened.

The local resident then quarreled with the perpetrator who was eventually paralyzed. The police then arrived at the location to secure the 35-year-old perpetrator.

"Officers also found metal finger books on the man," said Kindlon.

The jury's decision found the perpetrator guilty after two days of trial and two hours of mediation. Kindlon said the perpetrator did not testify, and his attorney did not present witnesses.

The judge determined the verdict hearing related to this case on February 6, 2026.
