KPK Calls Head Of BPKD DKI Jakarta, Usut Alleged Corruption Of Land Procurement In Dp House Rp0

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the Head of BPKD DKI Jakarta Edi Sumantri to be examined as a witness. This examination was conducted to investigate alleged corruption of land procurement in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta.

"The examination was conducted at the Office of the Corruption Eradication Commission, Jalan Kuningan Persada," KPK Spokesman Ali Fikri told reporters on Tuesday, May 25.

In addition, KPK also examined Yadi Robby who is the Senior Manager of the Land and Law Division of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya. He was also examined as a witness in this case.

Previously reported, KPK is currently investigating corruption cases related to land procurement in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

This land, will be used to build houses with down payment or DP Rp0 (House DP Rp0) which is a program of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.

Although it has not been announced, based on the summons of a witness, in this case there are four suspects who have been determined by the KPK. The first suspect is Director of The General Company of Sarana Jaya Development Yoory Corneles, who has now been deactivated from his post.

In addition, the KPK also designated two private parties Anja Runtuwene, and Tommy Ardian as suspects. Not only that, KPK also established a corporation namely PT Adonara Propertindo.

The four suspects are suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph 1 or Article 3 of Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes juncto Article 55 Paragraph 1-1 of the Criminal Code.
