In Front Of Refugees, Prabowo: Electricity In West Sumatra Is Almost 100 Percent Improved

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto said that the electricity supply in Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra) had been repaired by almost 100 percent, while water availability was still being repaired.

In front of the refugees, the head of state promised that the basic needs of the refugees in refugee tents such as electricity and water would soon be met by the government.

"Earlier I received reports that almost 100 percent of electricity in West Sumatra. The water is being repaired, we are all forming bridges. God willing, we will fix everything," said President Prabowo when meeting the refugees at the evacuation post at the Bumi Kasai Permai Housing Complex, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra, Monday, December 1 afternoon, was confiscated by Antara.

On the same occasion, President Prabowo continued a number of areas that have been isolated for several days, have now been penetrated by air. There are also several areas that have been penetrated after piles of mud due to flash floods and landslides are transported using heavy equipment.

The refugee post at Bumi Kasai Permai, Padang Pariaman, is the third post visited by the President today after the President visited refugees at GOR Pandan, Central Tapanuli, North Sumatra, then refugees in Bambel Baru Village, Kutacane City, Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh Province.

"This is a disaster, I am sorry for the families who have lost, and I pray that you, ladies and gentlemen, are steadfast, strong. Believe it, we are all one big family. We will not let you alone bear the burden," said President Prabowo, who was then greeted by the applause of the refugees.

At the Bumi Kasai Permai refugee post, Monday afternoon, the President checked the distribution of aid as well as the condition of the refugees. The President walked along the refugee camp and greeted the refugees one by one, including children scrambling to greet President Prabowo.

The President also went directly to the public kitchen at the evacuation post operated by Kodam XX/Mrku Imam Bonjol assisted by refugee women and a number of volunteers. The President asked about the menus prepared by the public kitchen, including the way the food was prepared until it was given to the refugees.

After reviewing the refugee post on Kasai Permai Earth, President Prabowo continued his trip to Minangkabau International Airport in Padang Pariaman and left for Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta.
