JAKARTA - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) has started sending logistical assistance and equipment to a number of areas affected by floods and landslides in Aceh Province.

The delivery was carried out by sea from the Port of Ulee Lheue, Banda Aceh, using the Express Bahari ship on Sunday, November 30.

The delivery of this assistance is intended for five areas that are still affected and land access has not fully recovered, namely Lhokseumawe, North Aceh, East Aceh, Langsa City, and Aceh Tamiang. The total assistance sent reached 27 tons.

Basic necessities that are distributed there include 50 boxes of ready-to-eat food, 33 packages of hygiene kits, 5 packages of baby kits, 8 cartons of child pampers, 10 carton sanitary napkins, 50 packs of milku, 5 boxes of cooking oil, 2 sacks of tarpaulin, 3 sack tarpaulins, 3 sets of family tents, 3 sacks of velbeds, 5 boxes of wafers, 1 box of reactants, 3 boxes of malkist, 5 sacks of rice, and 100 cartons of mineral water.
