JAKARTA - The Central Lombok Regency Government, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has unblocked residents receiving social assistance (bansos) who are indicated to be involved in online gambling (judol), after clarification.
"There are three groups of beneficiaries (KPM) that were previously blocked, have now been reactivated as recipients of assistance from the Family Hope Program (PKH), Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT)," said Head of the Central Lombok Regency Social Service, Masnun, quoting Antara.
He said from the previous data as many as 22 recipients of social assistance who were stopped receiving assistance because their NIK was indicated to be used for online gambling transactions. However, from the results of the clarification, it turned out that these three residents were not proven to have played judol.
"Meanwhile, there are some residents who are still dismissed, because they admit that they have used their accounts to play judol," he said.
"As a result of the clarification, there are those who claim to use the account to play judol and there are also recipients who really do not know that their accounts are used to play judol," he said.
He said that the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) in collaboration with the financial transaction reporting and analysis center (PPATK) detected their NIKs doing online gambling.
After a search, it turned out that the residents who received the assistance and indicated this judol were because there were ATMs, savings books and various other things held by other people.
So it is most likely that other people use the names of residents who receive social assistance to play online gambling.
"So indications that other people use to play games or online gambling, so they are reactivated for people who are not proven to be playing judol and signing a clarification report," he said.

His party admitted that of these 22 people, there were indeed those who did not sign the clarification report, because they admitted that they had played online gambling and realized they did not deserve social assistance.
Previously, the number of beneficiaries in Central Lombok to date has reached more than 41,000 consisting of PKH and BPNT recipients.
This number has decreased drastically because previously the number of recipients of assistance was more than 50,000 people. This decrease is due to deceleration, if deciles of one to four are the priority recipients of assistance, but if it is above it, it will not be a priority because it is considered rich.
"So the reduction in aid recipients is not only due to judol, but some died, then some were already rich and no longer lived in Central Lombok," he said.
