Kejagung Check 8 Witnesses About Kejagung, Inside TPPU Benny Tjokro And Heru Hidayat Stock Transaction

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) examined 8 witnesses related to the alleged corruption of PT Asabri. In this examination, one of the witnesses was examined related to transactions and shares of suspect Heru Hidayat as well as money laundering crime Benny Tjokrosaputro.

"The witnesses examined include EB as Commissioner of PT. Ricobana Abadi is being examined regarding nominees for stock transactions and administrators at several companies affiliated with HH suspects," Kapuspenkum Kejagung Leonard Eben Ezer said in a statement Monday, May 24.

The investigating team is also examining witnesses with the initials STN as the nominee. Examination related to confirmation of the transfer of funds to one of the customer's fund accounts (RDN) that transacts in the investment management of PT Asabri.

Then, SKG who is a Director of PT Lotus Andalan Sekuritas was examined to explore the broker PT Asabri. Witness RK as President Director of PT Ciptadana Asset Management related to the seizure of mutual fund assets.

"AWK as Operational Director of PT. Indo Premier Sekuritas examined related to clarification of mutual fund and RMOY as Head of Compliance of PT Mandiri Sekuritas which was examined related to the deepening of pt Asabri broker," said Leonard.

Another witness has the initials KM as Director of PT Brothers Graha Pratama. Examination of the assets of Money Laundering Crimes (TPPU) hotels in Solo related to suspect Benny Tjokrosaputro.

Investigators are also examining a witness with the initials A who is the President Director of PT Manulife Asset Manajemen Indonesia. He was asked for his information regarding the clarification of mutual funds.

"The examination of witnesses was conducted to provide information for the purposes of the investigation of a criminal case that he heard himself, he saw for himself and he experienced himself to find the legal facts about the criminal corruption that occurred at PT Asabri," leonard said.

In this case nine people have been named as suspects. They are the President Director of PT Asabri period 2011 - March 2016 (Purn) Maj. Gen. Adam Rachmat Damiri, President Director of PT Asabri period March 2016 - July 2020 (Purn) Lt. Gen. Sonny Widjaja, Finance Director of PT Asabri period October 2008-June 2014 Bachtiar Effendi, Director of PT Asabri period 2013 - 2014 and 2015 - 2019 Setiono Day.

Head of Investment Division of PT Asabri July 2012 - January 2017 Ilham W Siregar, President Director of PT Prima Jaringan Lukman Purnomosidi and Director of PT Jakarta Emiten Investor Relation Jimmy Sutopo.

Then President Director of PT Hanson International Tbk Benny Tjokrosaputro and Commissioner of PT Trada Alam Minera Heru Hidayat. Both Benny and Heru are suspects in the corruption case at PT Asuransi Jiwasraya.

The case is suspected to have cost the country's finances Rp23.73 trillion. The state's losses in this case are much greater than the jiwasraya case.
