JAKARTA - The Singkawang Police Criminal Investigation Unit, the West Kalimantan Police arrested two suspected perpetrators of immoral acts which were carried out through a live broadcast on the TikTok social media platform, following the viral uploads that were troubling the public.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Singkawang Police, AKP Raja Toga Bempang, said the action was carried out based on the Police Report Number LP/B/109/XI/2025/SPKT/Singkawang Police/West Kalimantan Police.

"The two suspected perpetrators were detained in two different locations, each in Singkawang City and Sambas Regency," he said in Singkawang, Friday, November 28.

He explained that the case began with the circulation of a live broadcast of the TikTok account showing indecent acts and sparking netizens' unrest. Following up on the report, Unit II of the Tipidter Satreskrim Polres Singkawang conducted an investigation to identify and track the position of the perpetrator.

"Currently, investigators have examined witnesses, conducted case titles, and detained the suspects. Expert examinations have also been carried out and the process to stage I is being prepared," he said.
