Tengger Kaldera Ring Road In Semeru Reorganized, TNBTS Design Flats Executed By Contractors

JAKARTA - The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Center (TNBTS) has compiled a planning document to carry out the arrangement of the Kaldera Tengger Ring Road (JLKT).

Head of TNBTS Center Rudijanta Tjahja Nugraja said the planning document would be a reference for contractors to work on the process of structuring the route.

"Currently, we are still compiling planning documents, such as road dividers, designs, and materials used so that later they will only be executed by contractors," said Rudijanta in Malang City, East Java, Wednesday, which was confiscated by Antara.

He said the planning documents that were being prepared would determine the starting point for the implementation until the end of the JLKT arrangement.

"The plan for the work will have to be (through) the job auction process first, so we can't confirm the exact time," he said.

When asked about the estimated overall budget requirement for JLKT work, Rudi said the value was estimated to be up to IDR 15 billion.

"For TNBTS, the institution is central, the funds are from the center and the arrangement of this JLKT is around Rp. 15 billion," he said.

Broadly speaking, he said the JLKT arrangement aims to strengthen local wisdom, conservation and tourism in the region. Arrangements that are still in the planning process are carried out with a zoning system in the TNBTS area.

The steps taken by the TNBTS Center, according to him, are not building construction but arranging special channels so that they are in line with efforts to preserve nature, the implementation still pays attention to conservation principles and norms.

To develop sustainable tourism, he said the JLKT arrangement was carried out not only to improve security alone, but also to give an impression of comfort for every tourist, such as presenting spatial planning for street vendor stalls or street vendors so as to give visitors an aesthetic impression.

The tourism accommodation business sector, such as a picnic place, cannot be separated from the big concept of JLKT arrangement.

The TNBTS Center, according to Rudijanta, will provide special land for these businesses, including places to run times, photos, tourist displays, and emergency locations.

Not only that, the arrangement is also aimed at preventing damage to points sacred by the Tengger community.

The TNBTS Center has discussed the plan to organize JLKT through a discussion of directed groups with cultural figures Tengger.
