JAKARTA - A grandfather in Banjarmasin with the initials SY reported his grandson's death to the authorities. SY noticed something unnatural when his grandson, NM (4) died in the hospital.
Banjarmasin Police Reskrim Kompol Alfian Tri Parmadi said, SY and his wife were initially contacted by parents informing that NM was in the hospital on Sunday, May 2.
At about 17:30 WITA, SY and his wife headed to the hospital. Upon arrival at Bhayangkara Hospital, we were informed that the victim had passed away.
SY was shocked and wanted to see the victim in the hospital. Then SY saw the deceased victim, many blue bruises on the face and abdomen.
Kompol Alfian said that at that time the victim only wore a white tank top and pampers wrapped in a blanket.
Then SY and his wife and others immediately took the victim to the home of the parents who took care of the victim since childhood until the age of 4 years and 7 months.
"On Monday, May 3, the deceased victims were buried in the area around Syamsudin Noor Banjarbaru Airport," said Kompol Alfian reported by Antara, Monday, May 24.
Well, seeing the oddity, SY reported to the Banjarmasin Police Satreskrim. Initially, the grandson's death was mentioned as a bicycle accident.
"According to SY, this victim never rode a bike. Then we saw the medical records look suspicious because it is not like the victims of bicycle accidents," said Kasat.
