Kapolda Checks Ciamis Line For Christmas-New Year Security Preparations

West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Setiawan directly checked the condition of the route in the Ciamis Regency area to ensure readiness ahead of the 2025 Christmas security and the 2026 New Year holiday so that people are comfortable and safe.

"We will hold Operation Nataru Lodaya 2025, and what I see here is that the Ciamis Police are all ready, and there were several directions we have to improve services to the community," said the Kapolda while reviewing the readiness of the southern homecoming route at the Prakasalbels Pahlawan Traffic Post, Ciamis Regency, Thursday, November 20, reported by ANTARA.

He said his staff checked all regions, including the current jurisdiction of the Ciamis Police, which contained a southern or cross-provincial route in preparation for the face and in order to welcome Christmas Day 2025 and New Year.

The Kapolda highlighted the importance of discipline, training, and personnel readiness in carrying out Operation Nataru 2025 which is a large-scale humanitarian operation.

He emphasized that the success of carrying out tasks is not only a matter of appearance in the field, but comes from routine work that is not always visible, for that all personnel must always ensure the safety and security of the community, including readiness to face potential natural disasters.

"All the first ranks to serve the community, this community must be served so that later they can take a safe vacation, and can carry out Christmas and New Year services safely as well," he said.

The Kapolda said that the police did not only check the readiness of personnel but the facilities and infrastructure were a concern so that Operation Nataru could run according to standard operating procedures.

Efforts to make this operation run smoothly and successfully, he said, need to collaborate with all stakeholders, namely the ranks of the TNI, local governments, and all other related parties to maintain smoothness and safety.

"Security is also something that must be carried out, which is realized, and I do not forget to entrust collaboration, thank God there is a TNI here, there is a Dishub from the regional government, there is BPBD and everything together," he said.
