The prosecutor's investigator named the Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the West Nusa Tenggara Democratic Party, Indra Jaya Usman alias IJU as a suspect in the alleged NTB DPRD gratification case.

Assistant for Special Crimes at the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Muh. Zulkifli Said revealed that investigators appointed the NTB DPRD member along with another member of the council, Muhammad Nashib Ikroman alias MNI.

"Yes, today we are investigating the Pidsus field to determine two people as suspects in the NTB DPRD gratification case. They are members of the council with the initials IJU and MNI," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 20.

"For Article 55 of the Criminal Code (submission), we will see later," he said.

The two suspects were observed to be at the NTB Prosecutor's Office building at around 10:00 WITA. About four hours in a special criminal room, IJU and MNI left the building wearing prison vests.

The two of them were immediately taken by officers to the prosecutor's detention vehicle to undergo detention. In this activity, it was observed that they received legal assistance from the lawyer.

In this case, the prosecutor has carried out a series of examinations of witnesses and experts and received money deposits suspected of being the object of a gratification case with a total of at least Rp. 2 billion.

Zulkifli revealed that the money deposited from the dozens of council members is now complete evidence of the case.

"The money is from 15 members of the council, now we use it as evidence," he said.
