Inaugurating The UAE Grant Hospital In Surakarta, Prabowo Asks People Not To Go For Treatment Abroad

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that the construction of high-standard health facilities in the country is the key to reducing public dependence on medical services abroad.

When inaugurating the Emirates Indonesia Kardiology Hospital, Surakarta, Central Java, Wednesday, Prabowo said that this new hospital has the most advanced equipment in Indonesia.

According to him, this will be an effort so that people no longer seek treatment abroad, especially related to heart disease and cardiovascular disease.

"I think this will give new hope for heart patients. You don't have to go far for treatment abroad," said Prabowo, quoted by Antara.

The grant hospital from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government is equipped with the latest technology and equipment. The hospital is one of four hospitals in Indonesia that has the most advanced facilities and equipment.

The government is committed to providing health services that are not inferior to developed countries.

"We have good facilities, the best, and we will pursue the best health services, which we can provide," he said.

On the same occasion, Prabowo emphasized that the government had instructed the construction of 66 new hospitals with the same standards as the Kardiology Hospital of the Indonesian Emirates.

In addition, Prabowo asked Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin that every hospital in the district/city has a hospital with a national service and facility level.

"In the next four years, we will try to achieve that. We are trying, but what is clear is that I will allocate a large enough cost for health services," he said.
