JAKARTA - Candipuro Police Chief, South Lampung, AKP Ahmad Hazuan was mutated after the destruction and burning of mapolsek by the mob on Tuesday, May 18.

The position of Chief of Police Candipuro is now held by Iptu Gunawan who previously served paur Sunkum Subbidsunluhkum Bidkum Lampung Police.

The transfer of office was stated in the telegram letter of lampung police chief with the number ST/396/V/KEP.2021/ dated May 21, 2021, signed by Karo SDM Polda Lampung Kombes Endang Widowati.

Pandra explained earlier that the internal supervisory team led by Karo SDM Polda Lampung Kombes Pol Endang Widowato had conducted an audit of the performance of Candipuro Police personnel after the destruction and burning of mapolsek.

"The internal supervisory team has provided recommendations, one of which is the mutation of the police chief," added Pandra.

Meanwhile, investigators of the South Lampung Police Criminal Reserse Unit have established 10 suspects in the case of destruction and arson of Candipuro Police.

"Until Friday (21/5) South Lampung Police has secured 14 suspected perpetrators of the destruction of Candipuro Police, and 10 people are designated as suspects," said Pandra.
