Police Arrest 2 Suspects In The Methamphetamine Case In Subang, Suppliers Still At Large

The Subang Police have arrested two suspects in the disclosure of a case of narcotics trafficking of methamphetamine in the Subang Regency area, West Java (West Java).

Head of the Subang Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, AKP Wanda Ervam Liton Dachi, said the two suspects arrested had the initials YDA (41) and DS (28), respectively.

The two suspects are residents of Mulyasari Village, Uncleukan District, Subang.

Based on the results of the interim examination, the two perpetrators claimed to have obtained the illicit goods from a person with the initials KDR who is currently on the wanted list.

The methamphetamine drug will be circulated in a number of areas around Subang.

"We will continue to develop this case to uncover drug trafficking networks and hunt down major suppliers who are still at large," he said in Subang Tuesday.

Mentioned, the two suspects were arrested on Sunday 9 November at around 00.30 WIB on Jalan Gang Darmodihardjo, Soklat Village, Subang District.

At that time, the two perpetrators were driving a black Toyota Calya with police number Z 1087 LN.

From the results of the search conducted by officers, it was found that a number of evidences such as 12 packages of methamphetamine were ready for distribution with a total weight of 29.11 grams and two digital scales.

In addition, officers also confiscated clear plastic clips, black duct tape, and scissors as packaging equipment, as well as two cell phones used to communicate in drug transactions.

Now the two suspects and all evidence have been secured at the Subang Police Headquarters, for further investigation.

Over the hills, the two perpetrators were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 112 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of life or the death penalty.
