BMKG: Weather Almost All Areas Of DKI Jakarta Today Expected Moderate Intensity Rain

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the DKI Jakarta area on Saturday, November 8, will be dominated by light to moderate rain in almost all areas, including the potential for thunderstorms in the Thousand Islands.

Quoted by Antara, in the morning, the weather in Jakarta varies. Central Jakarta and South Jakarta are expected to be thick cloudy, while North Jakarta, East Jakarta, and parts of South Jakarta experience light rain.

West Jakarta began with running air and then gradually cloudy, while the Thousand Islands experienced rain accompanied by lightning from the early hours of the morning. Temperatures range from 2326 degrees Celsius.

Entering the afternoon, the majority of Jakarta is in a thick cloudy condition in Central, North, West, South, and East Jakarta. The Thousand Islands are also predicted to be thick cloudy. Temperatures rose to the range of 2829 degrees Celsius.

In the afternoon, it is predicted that the areas of Central Jakarta and North Jakarta will experience light rain, while West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta will experience light to moderate rain. The Thousand Islands also experienced light rain.

At night, the weather conditions are stable again and tend to be thick cloudy throughout Central Jakarta, North, West, South, East and Thousand Islands. Temperatures decreased in the range of 25 26 degrees Celsius.

The BMKG appealed to the public to remain alert to the possibility of rain in the afternoon and evening, especially in the areas of South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands.

Residents who are active outdoors are advised to prepare umbrellas or raincoats, and be careful when driving because of the potential for slippery roads and reduced visibility.
