JAKARTA - In order to strengthen family resilience and welfare, the Socialization of the Proud Dating and Working Partner Program was carried out on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Cipayung, East Jakarta. This activity is part of the collaboration between Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives and the Ministry of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Family Planning (Kemenduk bangga) in supporting the implementation of the Proud Kencana program in the community.
The first session was filled by Mr. Zainul Munasichin, who explained the importance of early family planning as the main foundation for building a strong and prosperous family. According to him, the ideal age of marriage is 21 years for women and 25 years for men, because at that age a person is considered to have matured physically and mentally to form a healthy family. Marriage at an age is too young at risk of reproductive health, emotional stability, and the readiness of the household economy.
He also highlighted the importance of regulating the distance between children's birth and applying the principle of 'Two Children Enough' to ensure an optimal balance of affection, financial condition, and growth and development of children. In addition, the younger generation is encouraged to continue to improve skills and compete in order to be able to compete in a more competitive world of work.
In closing, Mr. Zainul invites the public to maintain a healthy lifestyle, exercise regularly, and instill awareness that a healthy and intelligent family is the key to the birth of a strong generation towards an Advanced Indonesia.
The second material was delivered by Mrs. Nurdini Wahyuningsih, who emphasized the importance of constitutional health checks for brides at least three months before marriage. This examination is the first step in ensuring the physical readiness and reproductive health of the couple, including handling anemia for brides-to-be.
He also reminded that every pregnant woman performs pregnancy checks at least six times in a health facility and provides exclusive breast milk during the first six months of the baby's life. After giving birth, mothers are advised to immediately use family planning after delivery to maintain pregnancy distance and prevent the risk of stunting.
In addition, the family is advised to provide balanced nutritious food at home, by ensuring adequate protein intake for mothers and children, in order to support the health and quality of family life.
The third session was delivered by Mr. Dede Irawan, who explained various community empowerment programs under his coordination, such as the activities of KB cadres, KB Villages, and UPPKA (Insistence for Increasing Family Revenue Acceptors).
The UPPKA program focuses on improving the family's economy through community-based productive businesses, so that it can help families of KB acceptors achieve financial independence. He also emphasized the importance of optimizing the Nutrition Food (MBG) program directed at toddlers and toddlers in Posyandu, so that nutrition intervention can be more targeted.
