The Reason For Free ASN To Take Public Transportation, Pramono: Not All Jakara ASNs Have A Large Salary

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed the reasons for the state civil apparatus (ASN) in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to be included in 15 groups of people who are free to take public transportation to the capital city.

The entry of ASN in the group of beneficiaries of the Transjakarta service ratification, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta was questioned by a number of parties. Given, ASN has received salaries and benefits that are state-funded.

However, according to Pramono, not all Jakarta ASNs get a large salary. There are also government employees who pay mediocre wages.

"Why was the ASN then free of charge? That's, right, the policies taken because after all, ASN in DKI Jakarta are not all big salaries. If the governor, deputy governor, the salary is quite certain, but if ASN, not all of them are big," said Pramono.

It is known that community groups who can get free public transportation service cards ranging from civil servants of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, retired civil servants, contract workers from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, students receiving KJP Plus, residents of the flats, the PKK Mobilization Team, and employees with salaries equivalent to the UMP.

Then, residents with the Thousand Islands ID cards, recipients of the Jabodetabek domicile race, members of the TNI/Polri, veterans of the Republic of Indonesia, people with disabilities, the elderly over 60 years old, administrators of houses of worship, PAUD educators, and jumantik groups, administrators of youth organizations, dasawisma, and posyandu cadres.

Currently, the DKI Provincial Government is also still opening registration for residents who are included in these 15 groups. Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, explained that in addition to population documents, Syafrin said that another requirement needed was a document stating that the person concerned was one of 15 groups of beneficiaries who were free of charge in this transportation service.

"The requirements are of course as is known, ID cards, family cards for the elderly. For other workers, such as house of worship officers, it shows a letter of assignment from a house of worship, a place of worship where the person concerned works," said Syafrin.

Syafrin emphasized that registration cannot be represented. People who want to get a free transportation service card must register directly to guarantee accountability for the process of providing subsidies allocated from the DKI Regional Budget.
