The Pangkalpinang Transportation Agency Opens The Opportunity For Wild Jukir To Become Official Officers, Free And Get BPJS!

PANGKALPINANG - Transportation Service (Dishub) Pangkalpinang City, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, opened recruitment for illegal parking attendants (jukir) to become official officers.

This step is taken so that the jukir can work legally and provide more orderly services to the community.

"Currently, there are a lot of illegal jukir, even exceeding the number of official parking officers who only have 337 people," said Head of the UPTD for the Technical Infrastructure Management of the Pangkalpinang City Transportation Agency, Welly A Riduan, in Pangkalpinang, Antara, Monday, November 3.

According to Welly, his party is trying to reduce the number of illegal jukir by opening registration for official parking attendants. He invited the illegal jukir to register immediately so they could work in a parking location recognized by the government.

"The requirements are very easy, free, even registrants will get BPJS Employment and parking equipment for free," he said.

Welly added that his party does not yet have exact data on the number of illegal jukir in Pangkalpinang because they operate illegally in unofficial parking locations, including areas under the authority of the Ministry of Transportation and the Babel Islands Provincial Transportation Service.

"Many illegal jukir also operate in front of businesses that do not provide their own parking space, thus disrupting the smooth running of traffic," said Welly.

He appealed to business owners in Pangkalpinang to provide special parking spaces, so that customer vehicles do not use the road and cause traffic jams.
