Recalculated, The Value Of State Losses In Asabri Case Dropped To Rp22 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office said the value of state losses in the case of alleged corruption of PT Asabri dropped to Rp22 trillion based on the results of a re-audit.

Director of Investigation of The Young Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah, Thursday, said it will soon be to the CPC to submit the results of the audit of asabri losses.

"In the meantime Rp22 trillion but this is planned on Friday (21/5) Jampidsus and I to the CPC," said Febrie quoted Antara, Thursday, May 20.

Previously, the Attorney General's internal auditor team estimated state losses related to Asabri corruption amounted to Rp23.73 trillion.

The internal auditor team of Kejagung together with BPK recalculated the state's losses in the case of asabri alleged corruption by re-matching the data found by investigators.

As a result of the recalculation, the state's losses became Rp22 trillion or reduced from the initial calculation of the internal auditor team of the Attorney General's Office of Rp23.73 trillion.

Febrie said it will meet with the CPC on Friday, May 21 for the submission of the results of the audit of Asabri's losses.

After obtaining the results of the CPC audit against asabri losses, Kejagung will immediately submit the case file of phase II of asabri case to the Public Prosecutor.

Meanwhile, the temporary nominal value of seized assets that have been confiscated from the suspects is more than Rp11 trillion.

Jampidsus Attorney General has appointed nine suspects in the investigation of cases of alleged corruption in the management of finance and investment funds by PT Asuransi Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia (Asabri).

The nine suspects are The President Director of PT Asabri period 2011 to March 2016 Maj. Gen. Purn Adam Rachmat Damiri, President Director of PT Asabri period March 2016-July 2020 Lt. Gen. Purn. Sonny Widjaja, Finance Director of PT Asabri period October 2008-June 2014 Bachtiar Effendi, as well as Director of PT Asabri period 2013-2014 and 2015-2019 Setiono Day.

Next, Head of Investment Division of PT Asabri period July 2012-January 2017 Ilham W. Siregar, President Director of PT Prima Jaringan Lukman Purnomosidi, and Director of PT Jakarta Emiten Investor Relation Jimmy Sutopo, President Director of PT Hanson International Tbk. Benny Tjokrosaputro, and Commissioner of PT Trada Alam Minera Heru Hidayat.

Both Benny and Heru are suspects in the corruption case at PT Asuransi Jiwasraya.

In addition, the Attorney General's Office also applies the article of money laundering (TPPU) crimes against three suspects, namely Benny Tjockrosaputro, Heru Hidayat, and Jimmy Sutopo.
