In Banyumas, Praise And Dawn Delay Ijab Kabul To Sing Indonesia Raya Song

JAKARTA - In Banyumas, Central Java, there are brides-to-be who are willing to postpone the reading of their wedding ijab kabul for a few minutes to listen to The Song of Indonesia Raya.

The one minute 58 second video was uploaded by Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo on his Instagram account, Thursday, May 20, and went viral. In the video, a couple dressed in all-white outfits instantly stand in perfect style. Not only the bride and groom, kua officers and the bride's family also stood and sang the song Indonesia Raya.

"Indonesia Raya before the marriage contract," ganjar wrote with the hastag #HariKebangkitanNasional, #IndonesiaRayaSerentak.#JatengIndonesiaRaya.

In the video as reported by Djawanews, it appears that the bride and groom are ready to enter into an agreement.

Before the kabul ijab was held, a man who was suspected of being the headmaster at KUA Baturaden named Muson invited the bride and groom named Puji Rahayu and Fajar Utomo and the whole family stood up to sing the song Indonesia Raya. The invitation was followed and the song Indonesia Raya was solemnly sung in the sacred event.

"Let's sing the song Indonesia Raya, in the framework of National Awakening Day on May 20, 2021. Let's sing together nggih," said one of the alleged leaders at kua Baturaden Banyumas named Muson.

The video immediately received comments from many netizens. There are funny comments, but all of them give appreciation.
