JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) will file an appeal after the former Prosecutor at the West Jakarta District Attorney's Office, Azam Akhmad Akhsya, filed an appeal against the verdict in the case of alleged money collection of Fahrenheit trading evidence in 2023.
"The person concerned has filed an appeal as well," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) at the AGO, Anang Supriatna, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 28.
According to him, filing an appeal is the right of every defendant. Therefore, the AGO is ready to face the appeal filed.
"If he appeals, we will definitely file an appeal," he said.
It is known, Azam Akhmad Akhsya sent the cassation file to the Supreme Court on Wednesday (22/10).
