The Tanjung Priok Port Police have secured a black Toyota Rush rental car with plate number B 2184 UKS, and a metallic yellow Toyota Yaris with plate number B 2002 UKM, which was embezzled in the Madura region, East Java.
Tanjung Priok Port Police Chief, AKBP Martuasah Tobing said this disclosure was the result of public reports that were followed up quickly and measured by the Satreskrim ranks.
"We are following up on every public report seriously. Thanks to the team's hard work, two cases of vehicle embezzlement were successfully uncovered and evidence was secured," AKBP Martuasah Tobing told reporters, Monday, October 27, 2025.
The disclosure came from the victim's report named Sirajudin, a car rental entrepreneur. The victim reported the suspect with the initials T (40) who embezzled two rental cars belonging to rentals.
"The perpetrator rented two cars for five months, but in the sixth to tenth months, the rental fee was not paid and the vehicle was not returned," he said.
The police managed to confiscate the evidence of the Toyota Rush and Toyota Yaris which were embezzled by the perpetrators.
The Toyota Rush was found in Bangkalan Regency, Madura, East Java. Meanwhile, Toyota Yaris was found in South Lampung, Lampung Province.

For his actions, suspect T was charged with Article 378 of the Criminal Code concerning Fraud and/or Article 372 of the Criminal Code concerning Embezzlement, with a maximum penalty of four years in prison.
"We continue to be committed to providing a sense of security to the community and ensuring that every perpetrator of the crime is prosecuted according to the applicable law," said the Police Chief.
All the evidence that was secured was then returned to the victims of the car owner, Sirajudin.
