Absent Today, KPK Will Call Again NasDem Rajiv Legislator Regarding CSR BI-OJK Corruption

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said Rajiv as the legislator of the NasDem Party faction would be recalled regarding the alleged corruption of BI Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the recall was made because the politician did not answer the summons today, October 27. He should have been examined as a witness at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"Today we checked that the person concerned was not present," Budi told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, October 27.

"Investigators will coordinate for the next inspection scheduling agenda," he continued.

Budi has not been able to specify the reason for Rajiv's absence. "Later we will check whether there is a letter for rescheduling or what kind of reason for absence from today's inspection schedule," he said.

Meanwhile, Rajiv has not become a legislator when the BI-OJK CSR was made a ban. He is said to be still an expert staff of Commission XI of the DPR and is the party that participates in distributing money from the program.

Previously reported, the KPK officially announced the legislators of the DPR from the NasDem Satori Party faction and Heri Gunawan as legislators of the DPR from the Gerindra Party faction as suspects in the alleged corruption of BI-OJK CSR funds. Both are suspected of receiving gratuities and committing money laundering (TPPU).

Satori is suspected of receiving a total of IDR 12.52 billion in this case. The details are IDR 6.30 billion from BI; IDR 5.14 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities; and IDR 1.04 billion from other working partners of Commission XI of the DPR.

The money is allegedly used for personal needs, such as deposits, land purchases, showroom construction, purchases of two-wheeled vehicles, and purchases of other assets.

Meanwhile, Heri Gunawan received a total of Rp15.86 billion and used it also for personal gain. The details are Rp6.26 billion from BI; Rp7.64 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities; and Rp1.94 billion from other working partners of Commission XI DPR.

The money is then accommodated in an account. Heri Gunawan then used it to build restaurants, manage drink outlets, purchase land and buildings to purchase four-wheeled vehicles.
