Trump Make Sure Not To Run For The 2028 Presidential Election For 3 Periods Presidential Position

JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump has decided not to run for vice president in the 2028 US presidential election.

Previously, the discourse of 3 terms was proposed by several supporters so that the Republican president could serve an additional term of office.

"I will be allowed to do so," Trump said in a conversation with reporters at Air Force One.

"I'm not going to do that. I think it's too sweet. Yes, I will put it aside because it's too sweet. I think people won't like it. It's too sweet. That's not - that's not true," Trump continued.

The statement is Trump's latest statement regarding the issue, which he has mentioned in a public speech and with the "Trump 2028" hat he shared at the White House.

No one should be elected president of the US for the third time, according to the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution.

Some argue that one way to circumvent this ban is by Trump running for vice president, while other candidates are running for president and resigning, so Trump can return to office. His opponents debated whether this was legal.

"I'd love to do it. I have the best figures I've ever had," Trump said referring to 3 presidential terms.

When asked by a reporter if he did not rule out a third term, Trump said, "Did I not rule out that possibility? I mean, you have to tell me."

Referring to Vice President JD Vance and Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, Trump also said they were great people who could run for the post.

"I think if they form a group, it won't stop," he said. "I really do. I believe that," he continued.
